About Alison Pelegrin

Alison Pelegrin received a Creative Writing Fellowship in 2007 from the National Endowment for the Arts. Her most recent collection, Big Muddy River of Stars, won the Akron Poetry prize and was published by U. Akron Press in 2007. Individual Poems have appeared in Poetry, Ploughshares, and the Southern Review. She teaches English at Southeastern Louisiana University.
