Mr. Jackson is a Detroit native and ex-military who found his way to New Orleans via squatting, direct activism and trainhopping. His poetry speaks to the spirit of place, and to that end, his recent play LOUP GAROU won the New Orleans Big easy award for Best Original Work of 2009. He continues to write, perform and produce in New Orleans.
